What this site collects
Ledgerline is a static journal. Reading it does not require an account, and none of the articles, the glossary, or the FAQ ask you for personal information. The one form on this site is the newsletter box, which asks for an email address if you choose to enter one.
The newsletter form
On this version of the site, submitting the newsletter form stores a small marker in your browser's local storage so the confirmation message displays; it does not send your email address anywhere or add you to a live mailing list. If a live newsletter is enabled in the future, this page will be updated first to describe exactly what is stored and how to unsubscribe.
Cookies and local storage
This site does not set tracking cookies and does not run third-party advertising or analytics scripts. Local storage is used only for the small newsletter confirmation marker described above, which stays on your device and is not transmitted.
Links to other pages
Articles occasionally reference general ideas or methods; where we link elsewhere, that destination has its own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.
Children's privacy
This site is a general-audience journal about household budgeting and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If what this site collects changes, this page will be updated with a new effective date before the change takes effect.
